Warehouse Loader
Job Description
Responsible for:
- Accurately building pallets from Voice Picking System
- Proper loading of all products onto sales vehicles and in the specified quantities.
- Reporting all equipment problems to the Warehouse Supervisor.
- Clean and neat appearance of warehouse.
- Wearing and maintaining specified uniform attire during all working days.
- Dumping trash in the warehouse area as needed.
- Sweeping glass and keeping trash picked up around dumpster.
- Keep all areas of the warehouse clean and organized before departure.
- Locking all Warehouse Doors and setting alarm.
- Turning off all automatic doors.
- Making sure all electronic warehouse devices are charged after shift.
- Making sure all warehouse equipment is charged as needed.
- Reports to Warehouse Supervisor.
Sales and Service Representative – Manhattan
Flint Hills Beverage is the leading beverage wholesaler in the Kansas Flint Hills region with our offices in Manhattan and Osage City, Kansas. This is a full-time salary position and reports to the Flint Hills Beverage Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Runs assigned route and meets or exceeds the performance standards and requirements.
- Communicates to Pre-salesman any observations or opportunities.
- Ensure displays, shelf stock and back stock are rotated at every account.
- Responsible for collecting proper payment at every account.
- Actively sell entire FHB brand/package portfolio of core brands, to all accounts on your route. Utilize our training and merchandising techniques, price promotions and other company provided marketing support.
- Participate in our sales meetings at a minimum of once a month with ideas, questions, comments, and opinions, which help the overall sales team’s performance.
- Give your best efforts towards company incentives. Follow correct sales process and merchandising standards.
- Minimize old/short-dated beer in your assigned retail accounts. Follow removal of old beer process.
- Maintains good relations with all retailers so that sales objectives and communications are not negatively affected.
- Respond promptly to requests for information from Supervisor / Management.
- Keep all selling and merchandising materials organized and in good condition. Also, keep work area and company vehicles in a neat, clean and orderly fashion.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED certificate required
- Must be able to qualify for and obtain a CDL driver’s license with our training/equipment and have and maintain a safe driving record
- Selling or merchandising experience (preferred)
- Highly self-motivated and results oriented with the ability to set priorities, coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, and be attentive to details
- Strong selling and negotiation skills
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment and strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to understand and read invoices, load sheets, job orders, and calculate simple math functions
- Ability to move products weighing up to 165 lbs. as well as hang merchandise and be able to fulfill other physical requirements including: Repetitive lifting (up to 50 lbs overhead), bending, pulling/pushing (Push/pull up to 340 pounds on a two-wheeler)
